The Centennial Trail.

The Centennial Trail.

This trip was one with great experiences and near death experiences. From waking up at 3am to a Bison circling your tent, to thunder storms, to climbing the tallest peaks in the Black Hills, swimming in lakes, and accumulating more blisters than you could imagine.

Though it was one of the hardest physical experiences of my life. You can’t get back the memories from such a rare expedition. This project includes photos chronologically throughout our 7 day adventure on the Centennial Trail.

(The Centennial Trail is an 111 mile trail marking the 100th anniversary of South Dakota’s statehood. The trail winds through numerous topography within the Black Hills including Bear Butte, Black Elk Wilderness, Custer National park, and Wind Cave National Park.)
